MyScorecard offers USGA handicap indexes to members who are part of an USGA Licensed Club formed and/or maintained on its web site.
This can be for members who form a "type 2" golf club (Club without real estate formed by members
with pre-existing affiliation), or for members who join a "type 3" golf club (Club without real estate,
with recruiting through solicitation to the general public) formed in their area. MyScorecard facilitates
the USGA Club formation, application, and maintenance process through its Web Site, and enables its USGA Licensed
Clubs to issue USGA handicap cards.
Official Clubs must adhere to all USGA rules and requirements, including that of handicap committee, peer review, and group cohesion.
If you are not part of an USGA licensed Club on the Web Site, then you will not
have access to a handicap card. Only USGA Licensed Golf Clubs can issue USGA handicap indexes.
